I've had similar experiences. sigh. anyway, I was writing cuz I think there should be a secret symbol, (like a secret handshake) for people who are looking to date. My idea is a smiley face which is winking. This could be the universal symbol for ask me out, I'm single. There are so many people divorcing or never married who are not identifiable just by the old sign of no wedding band. I never had or liked a wedding band anyway, but there needs to be something new, that we, in the secret society of eligible people, can use to identify others like ourselves. j I enjoy reading your observations. I have been a member at a dating site for over a year. No I have not ever gone on a date with anyone I met there. But, for some reason, I am a success....I have made so many friends and I could name 25 or more men that I would date and maybe marry, but that is not what I am there for...I am there just for casual on line pen friends...another thing that I don't like to read are bad nick or screen names. Ex....anything with the # 69...ugh! I do have great pictures and I change them all the time..depending on the season and my mood. I have helped many guy friends with their proflie. Just had that to add for now....oh! one thing I hate...rating myself....stunning...lol...I put average and you would not believe the emails I get over that comment...a picture should speak for it self...I think the less said on the profile...the better. one question in the site profile is" what are you looking for?" my answer is ....Who knows??....I have thought about doing what you do...help people....I am willing to share my profile with you...and the mail I get should back what I am saying about being a success...Thanks for the chance to express myself..
